Comment | Died from Heart disease
I wired you about the death of the Malay cook, which occurred rather suddenly at Mt Cornish yesterday, morning. It seems he had been ailing for some time with heart disease and indigestion, for which he had been treated, however, without avail. Yesterday morning, while attending to his duties as cook, he fell down in a faint, and although restoratives was at once administered, he never regained consciousness. Constable J. Rowan, who went to the Station to investigate, reports there were no suspicious circumstances in connection with his death, and he made arrangements for the burial of the deceased.
