The son of William James Spence and Mary Agnes Elizabeth Fahey, born in Brisbane.
Tom Spence was a Leading Aircraftman and his posting at discharge was 6 Aircraft Depot at Oakey. Tom Spence returned to the family property “Culloden” north of Muttaburra after his discharge and in 1948 married Patricia Coleman, had four children and was a well known grazier in the Muttaburra community.
Thomas William Spence (formerly of Culloden Muttaburra) passed away at Allora on 8 Nov 2012 aged 91 years.
Thomas William Spence and his cousin Thomas William Spence were grandsons of the well known pastoralist Thomas Spence of Rosedale Longreach, a resumption from Wellshot station which Thomas Spence selected in 1894.
