News has arrived from Muttaburra giving particulars of the drowning of a young man named Geo. Willis in Cornish Creek, on the 7th instant. Willis, who is about twenty-three or twenty-four years of age, and of fair complexion, attempted to cross the flooded creek in search of a lost horse, and was carried away by the current. Two days later the body was found by a search party hidden in a lot of rubbish and was subsequently decently interred.
