Comment | Died from Pulmonary tuberculosis haemorrhage.
The Western Champion and General Advertiser for the Central-Western Districts
Saturday 2 July 1910
THE death was recently reported of Mr George Bailey, a very old resident of the Muttaburra district. He had been suffering off and on during the whole year, and at length went into the hospital, where he was treated for haemorrhage of the lungs, and this, combined with old age, was too much for the old man, who was 79 years of age.
Mr. Bailey was a native of Manchester, England, and came out to Queensland 40 years ago, and had passed something like 30 years at Mt. Cornish, following the occupation of blacksmith. He leaves a married son, with whom he had lately been living.
