Death in a Coach. — A passenger by the last coach from Winton, named Christian Larentzen (says the Mitchell and Gregory Mail of November 8) met with a rather sudden death. Before starting he was observed to be ill, and he was put inside the coach, the remainder of the travellers mounting, the box. All went well until a short distance from Muttaburra, when one of the passengers had to dismount to open a gate. On looking inside the coach he found his fellow traveller lifeless, and the body swaying to and fro with the jolting of the coach. The body was brought to Muttaburra, where it was buried. He had been residing for the past five years with J. Von Berger at Winton, and on the recommendation of Dr. Mobs, was on his way south to obtain medical treatment at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney.
