SUDDEN DEATH.-A man named Quinn, Christian name unknown, died suddenly on Sunday 14th instant, at Mr. Turnbull’s camp, near Stainburn. Mr. Turnbull was taking a mob of cattle to the north of Bowen Downs. Requiring a hand he engaged Quinn on Thursday evening. On Friday Quinn spelled in the camp. On Saturday, he went to work, and seemed perfectly well. On Sunday morning Mr. Turnbull roused him to get the horses. He sat up on his blankets, and put his boots on. he fell back in an almost unconscious state, and died in about an hour. Previous to his death he asked for chlorodyne, but there was none in the camp. He also asked for a pannikin of tea, but could not drink it when it was given to him. Mr. Turnbull rode in and reported the matter to the Police Magistrate, who held the customary inquiry.
