Notes

Enlisted with 11th Infantry, aged 24 years.
Embarked Brisbane on HMAT A49 "Seang Choon" 19 September 1916 with 52nd Infantry Battalion 5th Reinf.
Private 2373 - reallotted Regimental Number 2373A on 7 March 1917.
Taken on strength 47th Bn, served in France. Wounded in action 28 March 1918 - admitted to 3rd Canadian Stationary Hospital, then transferred to Norfolk War Hospital in England.
Taken on strength 1 Command Depot, Overseas Training Brigade, 4 MG Bn. Returned to Australia on HT "Port Napier". Arrived Sydney 4 July 1919.
