MR J. W. DARE.
The death occurred in the Muttaburra Hospital on Sunday night last of John William Dare, 65, who had spent most of his life in Muttaburra. About 28 years ago he married Mrs Fahey, who predeceased him about ten months ago. For several years Mr and Mrs Dare conducted the Landsborough Hotel, and when this was burned down they took over the Australian Hotel. For about two years preceding the late Mrs Dare’s death, she and her husband resided away from the hotel, handing over the control to Miss H. M. Fahey.
