Trevor was born in the Muttaburra Hospital with Dr Arratta in attendance. He is the oldest son of Robert Alfred Rogers the daughter of Dick and Ruth Cuddy. His grandparents – Richard and Eileen Rogers – owned Crossmore Station where he grew up.
His two sisters Margaret and Robyn were also born in Muttaburra.
